Review on WiFi router TP-LINK Archer AX73, black by Aneta Kuchter ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The right product for me, there were no problems.

I especially liked the one mesh technology - signal extenders united into one network with a router. Parental control is top, but some features are available by subscription. Free: Website blocking, Content filter, Bedtime. Paid: Time limit and shutdown time. Subscription 4290r per year. As a hard drive I use - HDD TOSHIBA Canvio Basics 2TB. To play files, I use the VLC player application. 4K movies from the hard drive loads without problems. Unfortunately, the router does not show the free% memory on the drive. Only the total volume is visible. Compared to my previous router, the signal is much longer. The previous ax10 router did not cover the kitchen, but the ax73 did the job. If you have a private house - take ax73. If there is not enough signal somewhere - use the signal expander from tplink like me.

Pros
  • - Signal range - wifi 6 latest generation at the moment - Transfer rate - Appearance - Number of antennas - Parental control - Ability to control connected devices - Traffic prioritization - USB port that has the ability to connect an external hard drive - It is possible to create a guest network - Time Machine support - One mesh technology - Convenient application
Cons
  • - Part of the parental control feature is paid (off time and time limits) - Shows only the total capacity of the connected usb drive. As far as I know from the reviews, this is normal for this model. Well, as far as I know from the same reviews ax50 - shows these data.
