Review on WiFi router TP-LINK Archer AX73, black by Aneta Pa ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

The router is just top! Seriously, without stupid advertising, this is just an unrealistic router, especially for its price. Before buying, I read a lot of reviews here on . I filtered by negative ones and was surprised that some write about frequent reboots of the router, signal interruption, etc. - guys, you just got a marriage, why write a negative review right away. The manufacturer provides a 4-year warranty for this! Just change it to work. Marriage and among iPhones comes across among Mercedes. Do not expect 100% quality products from the manufacturer, there is always a part of the marriage. I’ve been using it for 2 months and I’m not overjoyed, I’m afraid to jinx it, but I can’t keep silent either. After 7 years on Asus RT-N12, I decided to change the router to a more modern one and decided to take one of the most powerful ones right away. There was a choice between not top-end routers from expensive brands (the same asus) and top-end ones from budget ones, I settled on the second one and did not regret it. I changed the beeline tariff to 500 megabits specifically for this router, so that the Internet would fly. Very often I check the speed through Speedtest and the results are always the same - honest 500 megabits. BUT this applies only to 5 GHz, at 2.4 naturally the speed is cut strongly, it does not show more than 200, but who needs it? I don’t know people who use 2.4 GHz at all if the router supports 5. there is no router that would not cut the speed at 2.4 ggy, because this frequency is clogged with your neighbors! It's time to learn it. In general, I recommend the router.

Pros
  • - The data transfer rate is honest 500 Mb / s at 5 GHz, the speed does not cut. - The signal never breaks - Radius of action. At the other end of the apartment, where the previous router did not catch 2.4 GHz at all, 5 GHz catches 1 scale, but the Internet still flies, despite the smaller range of the 5 GHz frequency as a whole. - In short: set and forget
Cons
  • - The size. The router is quite bulky, but this is probably due to the top-end hardware. No more cons!
