Matches my B&D coffee pot. It's not very heavy, it depends on how much water you put in (my friend has a different kind and it's too heavy). I particularly like how easy it is to use. It fills up nicely with a gauge on the side so you know how much you've put into it. It heats up quickly, but not as quickly as if you put the mug in the microwave. The strainer in the sink is difficult to insert and remove, but does the job well. The fact that you can quickly heat water simply in a saucepan makes all the difference. The lid only opens when you press the button at the top of the handle, so I don't have to worry about accidentally burning myself when the lid opens. I recommend this product to anyone who just wants to heat water for tea, cocoa, etc. I am very happy with mine.
