Review on USA Pan Aluminized Steel Half Sheet Pan - Warp Resistant Nonstick Baking Tray, Made in the USA, 17.5 x 12.5 x 1 Inches by Maria Jones

Revainrating 2 out of 5

After 1 year. for kitchen and dining room

Well, for about a year with occasional use 1-2 times a week as a shelf for pans, baking trays, etc. It was great at first, but slowly lost its non-stick properties. Hand wash only at dawn and with a tea towel, never in the dishwasher. Dry and store. It's time to clean up. Last night I was baking chicken thighs in the oven and everything was stuck to the bottom, I had to use a plastic spatula to loosen it. I put twilight and water in a flat layer and left on the table overnight. However, it took a bit of a blue scrubber to clean up. A few months ago I noticed rust forming under the rounded edge. My theory is that instead of dipping the baking sheet, it sprays it with a non-stick coating, leaving the underside of the rounded edge exposed to the elements of use. All in all, for $21 I think I got my money's worth. Still a good solid pan, just not as non-stick.

Pros
  • Classic Half tray for baking and roasting cookies, vegetables and pies; commercial and thick-walled aluminized steel
Cons
  • Almost everything included
