I had purchased a couple of straps with clips to hold my kayaks close to the ceiling. The plastic clip broke on one end when I was taking the kayaks out and shocked us all as the kayak hit the garage floor. Decided to get something good and sturdy as these are, and they are well made, easy to install (just have a stud finder), and very secure. If you need to hang two kayaks, get these! Bypass the cheap straps. They will only last a couple of years and then try and destroy your kayak. This will last a lifetime
