Not for Bird Killers!

If you are interested in these bells as an accessory for your cat, they look cute. I wouldn't rate them highly even if that were my goal as the color coating scratches or rubs off easily leaving a dull metallic look after just a week of wear. If you are interested in these wind chimes, stop by. for the bird killer, forget it because they don't work at all. I had my doubts when I ordered them because cats hunt their prey. They sit in their favorite spot, artfully hidden, patiently awaiting the bird's appearance, and when it appears they pounce with such lightning speed that they reach the bird before it can hear the sound of a bell, and they are hopelessly in the mouth or the Your cat's claws get stuck. We witnessed this event a few days ago. From our window we watched the Birdkiller leap and squirm in the air to catch a Cardinal, which landed two feet above its head on a branch next to our bird feeder. Luckily our daughter was able to run outside and free the poor bird before any damage was done. The bird killer is only allowed outside at night. I'm giving the bells two stars because they're useful for finding the killer in the morning before he can do any damage near the bird feeder.
