Review on Optimized Fluke TPAK Meter Hanging Kit by Lild Zimmerly

I recently purchased this gauge hanging kit. I thought I was crazy paying such a high price for a magnet, some plastic pieces and some velcro. Why did I buy it? Last year I was helping my son fix his car in the bitter cold and high winds and my Fluke test tool slipped off his truck and onto a concrete lot. The case was cold, about 5 degrees, and it shattered like glass. My Fluke multimeter was an older model but it still worked great even though it was over 30 years old. Unfortunately I got so attached to the multimeter that I glued its case together and it worked fine. 2 months ago I dropped it again and it broke even more. Now it was beyond repair and there were no replacement parts for it. I bought a new Fluke 87V multimeter and am amazed at how it works. My first thoughts were if I wanted to break this beautiful device and the answer was no, I wanted to protect it. I bought this hanging kit and it works great. It does what it was designed to do. I love it and it's a great addition to my Fluke 87V accessories. I still find it overpriced, like all Fluke accessories, but a quality, professional tool worth protecting. Get it and enjoy the fact that your meter is protected!
