My kids LOVE this microscope. I bought this during a lightning sale and will definitely buy it again! I've spent a lot more on microscopes that I didn't think were half as good. Sure there are better ones out there, but if you're looking to spend under $50 for something simple, I'd say go for it! It's so small I can honestly put it in my purse. I really take it with me when we go to a meeting because my kids love using it for waiting room things. Because it's small and bulky, we take it outside and see a lot more things than just what fits on a slide. This video was taken with my phone camera so it's still lost. some quality but you can still see how great it looks. My daughter brought some petals to look at and we noticed that there was a "white speck that was moving". I thought it was a small mistake and decided to check it out. Aside from the fact that it was moving, you couldn't see it well enough without a microscope to tell it was a beetle. (PS sorry if the kids are making noise. They're excited lol). This microscope is simple. It doesn't have many options, buttons, or settings. But simplicity is one of the reasons I love it so much. It opened up a whole new world of microscopic textures, colors and life for my kids. It made the whole world even more exciting for her.
