Pretty good phone. I definitely should have received instructions to eliminate the evil traits. I turn my back on speakerphone and that helps. I'm not as loud as I'd like, but after trying 3 others I've settled on this one as the best of them all. Most callers say the audio on their site is good. I hear most people through the speaker, but I have to get some calls to my ear, and even then, they're not loud enough. I don't have hearing loss because my old cordless phone was just a regular old phone and it was louder than this one. The boost function makes no noticeable difference. The voice recorder has no batteries, but it keeps my message even after a power failure.
