I bought this camera to use as a second source when working on projects like a POV cam. The user interface is quite simple. , on the sides there are rubberized buttons for power and various recording modes (video, time-lapse, audio only), and accessing the menu is quite easy. A couple of times after taking it out of the charger it wouldn't turn on and I had to manually reset it (put a small wire in the hole to push the button) but after that it worked fine. This will likely be fixed in a future software update. Camera installation is another issue. It's pretty bad to clip it to a loose shirt because the camera will shake, so I resorted to a camera backpack strap that has a zipper in the front. It's not perfect, but it helps stabilize the image a bit. It automatically turns on the IR light in a too dark room and works very well. H.265 compression required an additional codec to be downloaded onto my editing computer before I could use it, but once I have it I can edit my footage with ease. Pretty decent reliable case. I wouldn't want to run him over with a car or anything, but falling a few feet onto a hard surface shouldn't be a problem. In general I am very satisfied. I don't use it professionally and I don't use it every day, but I take it out about once a week to record the things I'm doing.
