Review on ๐Ÿ’ช Improved Packard C140A Pole Contactor Coil for Enhanced Performance and Efficiency by Adam Abner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked on a Lennox XC14 series 5 ton capacitor

This contactor worked perfectly on my Lennox XC14 series 5 ton capacitor. The only difference was that my original contactor had screw terminals on the top/output side while this one had screw terminals. It was easy enough to cut off the ring connectors and insert the bare wire into the provided screw terminals. Replacing it was great preventative maintenance as my 7-8 year old contactor was badly scratched and will likely fail in the near future. Much better to spend about $11 here and do it yourself than spend $200-$300 on an emergency call to the local HVAC technician. Bottom line: If your device is more than 5 years old, replacing it yourself now while it's still working is inexpensive preventive maintenance! I bought two so I always have a backup on hand. Another advantage is that the condenser is now quieter. . I didn't realize how much noise the old Schรผtz made. I seriously thought that maybe the compressor wasn't working after I was done. No, it just got quieter!

  • Motor contactors
Cons
