East used to install heaters on my van. I bought a 100ft Easy Heat 2102 cable from him. No problems wrapping and insulating my typical van plumbing. Doesn't get too hot and that's the main reason I chose the lower wattage cable. It's pretty easy to cut the cable and plug in this power supply. I've used Knipex knives, but any decent knife should work just fine. I turn the Easy Heat system on and off with a Johnson Controls thermostat. Too much, but I know it will go on.
