Bought this switch to replace the one in the golf cart I just picked up. It was the exact same switch, just a different color. Of course, being the same switch, the swap took less than a minute. Worked well for 2 weeks. Nothing happens now. I'll try the second one and see how long it lasts, but I'm not hopeful at the moment. UPDATE: The switch wasn't defective at all. Obviously whoever connects the light is putting 36V straight to the switch, it's not rated for 36V which explains why they melt. Change my review score. 🙂
