The good thing is that the press is big enough to fill a burger with 2-3 ingredients. However, it takes a few tries to make sure the inside doesn't leak. I recommend making a small hole in the top with something like a toothpick to see if that helps stop the leak. You don't have to cook the hamburgers or cook them through for the innards to melt. I noticed that while the meat was still quite sparse, the cheese was coming out a little. This is a great tool to expand the possibilities of a hamburger.
