I use a Sperry cable tester every day and needed a backup in case one of my other Sperry testers should fail. One of the main differences with this model and the other model is the fact that when tested, the lights come on too quickly and stay much shorter, requiring you to watch all four pairs, two or three, being tested. times to ensure all four pairs are properly lit and solid green.
