Review on Mothers 08264 Ultimate Ceramic Hybrid Detailer, 24 fl. oz. by Robert Sample

I respect the Mothers brand and have used Meguiar's for a long time, two brands after years of research that I use or have great respect for. However, I am very dissatisfied with this product for several reasons. I used it on a dark metallic - it's called Dark Slate Pearl - which I've endorsed since 2013 when I bought the car. I've been using mostly plastics and switched to hybrid ceramics last year and I'm really happy with how it's performing with this dark metallic color. Be "universal" including this one to see how it helps me polish my car between washes and rewax with hybrid ceramic. Most of the products I've tried - Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Detailer, Chemical Guys Hybrid V7, Shine Armor, and Cerama Shield - did their job perfectly without leaving streaks. While I don't prefer the Rain X option because it produces the worst rain stains, even this product didn't cause streaks on me. it has been heavily relined with any type of sealer, wax, synthetic wax or hybrid ceramic. Additionally, the beads it leaves are small things, but I'll say this - they look like cheap car wash spray with wax beads that leaves a light mist underneath when wet. I know, I know, it's a small thing. But that's two blows to a product that I expected to be at least on par with other products that I'm completely or mostly satisfied with. I've tried this product on a few other surfaces that I use as "test surfaces" for other products when trying to figure out what's going on - like my flat glass shower door that is cleaned every day - to see what it is it does, and so that I can better understand what's going on in an "unscientific but controlled way". The same "little rough resin beads" style you can get from a cheap waxed car wash spray. So I will not consume the rest of the product there. Maybe it's good for someone with an alloy or non-metal lighter car, but I won't modify it and will pass it on to get other's opinion. Not for me. No hard feelings mother, maybe it's me.
