HAS TOO MUCH MELATONIN

Melatonin is a hormone that has been used and somewhat abused by the health care industry and unfortunately people blindly swallow whatever the industry throws at them without doing any research first. More melatonin is not better when it comes to sleep. Melatonin is a hormone and should be treated accordingly. Your body makes it at night (do not take melatonin at other times of the day as it biologically counteracts your body cycle) and only makes a very SMALL amount to support a healthy sleep cycle. Supplementing with more than 3 mg (which is already more than most people need) is unhealthy and can cause depression, mood problems, and poor sleep cycles. This product has 8 mg. It's obscene and shouldn't even be on the market in my opinion. Interfering with something as sensitive as the body's hormones always has consequences, many of which are not immediately obvious. Please be careful with such a product. Aside from the unnecessary amount of melatonin, it has many beneficial ingredients for mood and inner peace, but they affect everyone differently depending on your unique makeup and what you experience or don't experience. in. Not everyone responds to things like 5-htp etc and what works well for one person may not work for another. Before you buy a blanket that could make your condition worse, do some research on what you personally need.
