Review on 🖌 24-Piece Watercolor Pencil Set by Royal & Langnickel by Mandy Martin

I bought these after reading reviews of many similar products. I wanted something appropriate for an adult artist, but I wasn't willing to afford a quality artist kit. I used to use watercolor pencils, but many years ago. For the price I paid (24 sets for $10) they are sufficient for class or student use. They apply easily to both light and dark applications, but even the darkest application turns out much lighter than expected when applied with a brush and water. I tried reapplying the dry pigment and then reapplying the brush and it was a disaster. I will only use them when drawing on the go or on smaller projects. I'm used to watercolors in tubes so I think I'll have to try artist quality pencils. However, I recommend them to students and anyone who wants to experiment with watercolor.
