From Lover to Dump

About a year ago I started to standardize this tire. The first pairs of pairs were fast and reliable. When I went on a 500 mile bike ride (7 days) I wanted to stock up on new tires. The rear tire had snapped - it deflated three times and then started to separate from the sidewall. I also noticed that the last pair wore out pretty quickly (about 700 miles). There were warnings of a cotton sidewall and catastrophic emissions due to a specific carbon clincher wheel (can't remember the name). While this shouldn't worry anyone (unless you read the warning on the Vittoria website), there are concerns about the durability of the sidewall, as well as the ridiculous flats I got from the sharp rocks going through the decanter. Let's get back to the Continental Four Seasons. . I liked these but they have flaws. Back to Continental.
