One of the best street tires

These are my favorite tires. 28mm fits more than 26mm which gives me more clearance for my Ultegra calipers. Very easy to put on and take off. There are Rovals and Zipps.

So far so good, best in sport

I've only had a few rides on these tires but so far it feels great. I love the way they look on the bike and the feel of the ride. No flats, but at just 80 miles it's not exactly a challenge. As long as they're great.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Legacy model

I don't race anymore, but I still do long hard rides with different groups. So I was looking for a quality tire that wears out a little better than a real race tire. That's a great tyre. 25mm is very comfortable with reasonable rolling resistance. This will be my main tire in the future.

Best street tire

These are the only tires I will use, period. The road feel is amazing, they take corners very confidently and change seats with ease. Braking is consistent, and for me on Southern California roads, I get decent mileage from them. It's something with the sidewall, they just feel better than other tires. Try to find them on sale, sometimes I could buy two packs for $89.99. Try them, I guarantee you will stop driving GP4k (yes I know you drive them).

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Some bugs

From Lover to Dump

About a year ago I started to standardize this tire. The first pairs of pairs were fast and reliable. When I went on a 500 mile bike ride (7 days) I wanted to stock up on new tires. The rear tire had snapped - it deflated three times and then started to separate from the sidewall. I also noticed that the last pair wore out pretty quickly (about 700 miles). There were warnings of a cotton sidewall and catastrophic emissions due to a specific carbon clincher wheel (can't remember the name). While
