This is a great low profile side light that increases your visibility to motorists and other cyclists. When properly installed, it fits very well. It is very unlikely that you will ever lose it! The installation is self-explanatory. Two strobe modes and one constant brightness mode are available. The device is said to be waterproof, but I hardly ever ride in the rain so I'll never know. The LEDs aren't overly bright, but they're definitely bright enough to alert others to your presence. Unfortunately, this model is not rechargeable. It runs on AAA batteries - you can buy rechargeable AAA batteries, but that also means you'll need to buy a charging station (think about it). Overall I like this side lighting. I just wish it was rechargeable. Even if I had bought rechargeable AAA batteries with a charging station, removing the old batteries would require disassembling the unit, which guarantees quite a bit of tool marks every time the battery is changed. In any case, I give this product two thumbs up for its increased reliability - it's not just an expensive flash! One star off because it's not rechargeable.
