Review on πŸ“Š Enhanced Accuracy and Convenience: Efergy True Power Meter with Voltage and Phase Measurement, No Wi-Fi Needed by Kyle Whitehead

Revainrating 5 out of 5

100% accurate with easy installation

When we first moved into our house, we had a lot of electrical problems. It seemed like our bill was sky high no matter what we did, so I took the plunge and ordered this power meter to see if I could handle it. - INSTALLATION - I'm definitely not an electrician, but if you're familiar with circuit breaker replacement, installation is a breeze. You install two clamps across the mains in the switch box and then connect the sensor to the existing switch. The only tricky part is connecting the sensor to an existing switch. You can start the meter without doing so, but wiser people have found in various reviews that you'll get inconsistent or incorrect results if you're not connected to your home's power supply. But like I said, if you're okay with changing the break, it's not that hard. Just make sure you have a wire nut or two handy. Pairing the reader and sensor took about 5 seconds. -- ACCURACY -- I expected some deviation from my electric meter, but it's absolutely 0. If my electric company says I'm using 30 kWh, the meter says I've used 30 kWh. . There's nothing better than that. -- SUMMARY -- The device is very responsive and I refresh it every ten seconds, making it much easier to troubleshoot power issues. Thanks to the device, I learned that the fluorescent lights in the basement used 600 watts when turned on, my fan used a lot more power than I thought, and we found an outdoor halogen that wouldn't turn off properly. While there were some issues we couldn't do anything about, such as: B. using a fan for heating, we became much more aware of energy consumption. I estimate that this meter saves us about $30 a month. Obviously, your mileage will vary based on your current habits.
