Review on Idaho Backcountry Discovery Routes - Butler Maps by Derek Pape

I was expecting a map showing major country roads for dual sport and adventure bikes across the state, similar to Butler's fantastic "G1" series of maps for paved roads. Instead, this map is a single route through the state. The route seems to be chosen more for the possibility of getting from one end to the other without touching the tarmac, rather than the quality of the road. If you are looking for a pre-packaged week-long hike, this map is for you as it describes this route in great detail. The cards themselves were made from quality plasticized paper and folded and creased well. I haven't tested them for "water resistance" but it looks like they can handle some moisture.
