This device is very simple in operation, but works extremely well. One click for on, one for off and the ring spins for dimming control. I had zero issues with install, it is just one single screw you tighten down on the switch stem for the base, then you snap the switch on. Took a minute or so as the screw is tiny and I was being careful to not hit the wall with the multitool I was using.Adding it to Hue was equally easy, no issues and found and worked right away as the instructions said. I have had more trouble paring an actual hue bulb than I did this switch! See video for demonstration of the switch operation, hopefully some find that helpful.My only possible issue is sometimes in the dark if I try to hit the switch or search for it with my hand I bump the dimming ring and it comes on at like 1-5% brightness. I like that feature of auto on, but at times I do bump it accidentally and have to then spin to full brightness and not just hit the button. This is not a button issue, its a me issue but something to note.Desired feature - double click or triple click options to set scenes. Not possible now, but would be neat to have.
