Helpful Tip: Bevel the end with a file/dremel, soften the metal with a red fire, place it in the tool while it's hot and screw it down. I've always made my flares in such a way that they have never let me down. I'd say this tool is way better than the cheap stuff we've all tried at least once. So I would say yes, for steel it's worth buying, no for copper, don't waste your time.
