READ THIS LATER THANK YOU

So I've read all about this product and watched the YouTube video and here are the answers you need: YES, you need to remove the locking button on the side. No big deal as you can always add a snap later if you want to go back to the original D-ring closure design. (I wouldn't because this buckle is too easy to use) This side is easy to install after removing the locking button. On the other hand, some people talk about removing the D-ring. You DO NOT need to remove the D-ring. I also didn't want to completely ruin my good helmets for this product. This part is a real nuisance (at least for my two helmets Bell Qualifier and Gringo). If you want to do this twice, use a small knife and cut a "pair" of threads holding the D-rings together. You don't have to cut much, just press the clip into the common space. They also always sew together when you want to go back to normal. Sounds like common sense, but no one else has said that anywhere and it took me a while to figure it out. Thanks for reading this (if it helps people you can thank me by sending me another one lol I have 5 helmets)
