Description of 🏍️ Optimized for SEO: Black Metal Motorcycle Dirt Bike Helmet with Quick Release Chin Strap Buckle

Strong metal helmet quick release for your helmet's chin strap that attaches easily to most full face motorcycle dirt bike and snowmobile helmets fabric loop that holds the D-rings on. Once you simply attach and adjust it once this quick release is simple push button on and off while wearing gloves. The strap stop slider stops your helmet strap from flapping in the wind so if you have a strap de flapping button on the end of your strap you will have to simply just pop it off. Please check that you can fit minimum one to three max pencils widths in your fabric loop that holds the d-rings on for this helmet quick release. Exceeds Snell and DOT FMVSS NO. 218 FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARDS.

Great quick connector!

First I want to address the pen confusion. The D-rings on your helmet buckle together. This leaves a loop where the D-rings will be sewn. This loop must be large enough to allow the open end of the quick connector to be inserted into the sewn loop of the D-rings. Mine was too small so I cut off one of the D-rings and I had enough room for my claw to fit in the loop sewn on. I used a grinder at work but you can use a dremel or even bolt cutters to cut the ring off. I left a D ring so I can…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Some bugs

Scorpion AXO AT-950 = works great!

Much better than messing around with D-rings and clasps! Beautiful aluminum buckle and very easy installation. After making sure the buckle works and everything is adjusted correctly, I cut off the D-rings (there's no turning back!). I see no reason to leave her, but you can go. They will only be overweight and get in the way. I then used Vice Grips to crush the little red latch. I also carefully cut off a piece of mesh with another red clasp. I also removed the little Ryder Wear stickers for…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Best Helmet Upgrade

I always hated that my motorcycle helmet only had standard D-rings to attach the helmet. With an expensive helmet you would think it would offer the convenience of a ratchet strap or buckle system. Well, complain no more. This thing changed my driving experience. Took about 10-15 minutes to install after fiddling with the straps to try to hide them and fit everything. I added them to both my helmet and my fiancee's. Literally 2 minutes, sometimes trying to put on helmets in the cold, fumbling…

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

READ THIS LATER THANK YOU

So I've read all about this product and watched the YouTube video and here are the answers you need: YES, you need to remove the locking button on the side. No big deal as you can always add a snap later if you want to go back to the original D-ring closure design. (I wouldn't because this buckle is too easy to use) This side is easy to install after removing the locking button. On the other hand, some people talk about removing the D-ring. You DO NOT need to remove the D-ring. I also didn't…

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Security

You can use better instructions but good ones

After using the Echo product on the last two helmets I decided to look for something new. While this one is easier to use and doesn't get stuck like the Echo, it has a few things that bother me. Now it's durable and made entirely of metal. It closes with a fairly comfortable click and holds its position without slipping. I really like it and I think I will get it again in the future. However, what worries me is that the instructions are a bit vague and I had to email the seller to have it…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Bad instructions
