Much better than messing around with D-rings and clasps! Beautiful aluminum buckle and very easy installation. After making sure the buckle works and everything is adjusted correctly, I cut off the D-rings (there's no turning back!). I see no reason to leave her, but you can go. They will only be overweight and get in the way. I then used Vice Grips to crush the little red latch. I also carefully cut off a piece of mesh with another red clasp.
