I'm studying the air conditioning trade and amending my toolbox. I know some things you can "cheat" on when you start and others you can't. A Micron sensor is required and this does exactly what it is supposed to do. Very easy to use. The interface is simple and intuitive, the only thing I needed to reference the book for was what the different [LCD] segments mean when they change states. (You'll find that they mean they change state as the vacuum is pulled deeper, and roughly tell you when you get a numeric reading.) Tool for opening the battery compartment. Did they change the design? I used my fingernail (and I keep them short). Hopefully that was a bug they fixed. The most impressive thing was that I recently watched AC Service Tech's YouTube (they are very helpful and educational). In the video they fully pumped down a mini split to set up the 410A refrigerant recovery, they used this gauge! I thought it was as good an ad as any!
