I bought this as a Christmas present so I won't be using it myself. The box arrived intact and is the perfect gift box so I don't have to pack anything. I think I'll just glue the sides so it doesn't open. I'm not sure what material the box is made of, but it has a nice texture. The bow is cute, although it's obviously just glued together with ribbon. I had to remove the adhesive thread, but that wasn't a problem for me. The only downside would be the top left corner just above the loop where there is a slight crease in the fabric. But this is not critical, it is almost imperceptible. All in all a very nice gift box. As for the contents of the box. Everything seems to be there. I didn't want to open anything as it's a gift. I can't tell if the directions are easy to follow, but it looks like the numbers on the packs match the symbol on the instructions. So everything you need, apart from the tools, to create a character is in one bag. I can say with confidence that everything that was written in the advertisement is there, even black pencils under the eyes. If I get any photos of the person I'm gifting this to I'll be sure to add them and ask how easy it was to follow the directions. .
