Wow, that thing is reliable! I didn't want to buy any of the tripod/monopod conversions because sometimes I have to drive to my clients quickly and just don't have time to disassemble/assemble tripods and monopods. I also wanted to make sure I had a solid monopod because I didn't want my shots to shake or move and I wanted to be comfortable because my Nikon D750 was secure! This Opteka monopod is just the ticket! This thing is strong, durable and well built! It's definitely a bit heavier than most standard monopods, but that's because it's rated for up to 30 pounds. Non-slip foot works great, dual camera mount and quick and easy height adjustment. I couldn't be happier!
