Review on πŸ”Œ Dixon BN32-RU62 Reusable Fitting Adapter by Mark Adams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It fixed my $40 high quality 50ft air hose in 5 minutes or less. Worth every penny. No leaks and no regrets.

I had a good quality 3/8 inch air compressor hose. It had a hole about 3 inches from where it connected to my compressor. I was about to throw it away as a leaky high pressure hose isn't worth the risk. Then I discovered this little beauty. I cut off 6 inches of my rubber tubing with a razor blade and cleaned the hole. Started flipping the large inside of my hose. (not difficult at all in my opinion) I then place the tubing attached to the female part in a vise to hold it steady. I then took a crescent wrench and screwed the female part of the adapter into the female part clockwise and twisted until it was very tight. Piece of the cake! I was expecting it to be longer or a bit more difficult, but it took 2 minutes max. I then wrapped the zipper threads in teflon tape, put on a 1/4 NTP fitting, inserted it into the compressor and fired it. I increased the pressure to 160psi with no problems. I spent just under $8 to fix the air hose instead of $35. Even if my 50ft hose leaks down the middle, I will use this adapter again and make a 25ft hose out of it. Brilliant. Don't throw away the hose or waste your money if you don't have one. I couldn't be happier.
