Adapter for connecting hose or fittings of different types. Connects to hose on one end and a female NPTF threaded connection on the other. Brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability with Viton seal for use with a variety of chemicals and fuels and resistance to ozone and weathering. Maximum working pressure of 250 psi at 70 degrees F. Recommended for low pressure air hose applications.

Great product and easy to use

Great product and easy to use! I needed to fix a leaking, flapping corrugated hose and didn't want to unwind 50 feet of hose from my hose reel to fix the leaking hose, so I bought a fitting to make the repair a little easier. I have a heavy duty air hose so my air hose OD is 11/16" but I bought 5/8" and 11/16" hose OD fittings just to cover my bases. I found that the 8" by 5/16" diameter fitting put deep grooves in the outer shell of my hose and felt that this could compromise the hose's…

I had a good quality 3/8 inch air compressor hose. It had a hole about 3 inches from where it connected to my compressor. I was about to throw it away as a leaky high pressure hose isn't worth the risk. Then I discovered this little beauty. I cut off 6 inches of my rubber tubing with a razor blade and cleaned the hole. Amazing Quick-Fix is ​​the best tube fitting

I have a hose reel in my garage and it would be impossible (for me) to replace the hose without replacing the entire reel. The hose snapped at the end just before the fitting so it was VERY easy to fix with this fitting. I simply cut off the end in front of the crack and installed this fitting.
