Maybe they sent me a defective or wrong product. My order does not dazzle in the sun or in the shade. It's just dark and you can still see everything in the house. At first we thought we installed it the wrong way around, but we checked the instructions on the box and packaging three times and it clearly states that when the cling film is removed, the open side faces the window. *Replacement Update* We got our replacement and to be honest it wasn't much better than the first one. Still, look inside the house on a sunny day. No reflection, just black. But we found that there is a slight reflection indoors at night, but not a strong one. We find that it blocks about 70% of the sunlight in the home. My wife doesn't really like that kind of darkness, but as early as May 2020 she notices that it's cooler in the hallway. I've increased my star rating to 2 stars because it blocks at least 50% of the light even though it says 25%. Let's see how it really works in summer.
