Review on ZdalaMit RMT-B115A Replacement Remote Control: Compatible with Sony Blu-Ray DVD Players BDP-S480, BDP-S2100, BDP-S280, BDP-S580, BDP-S380 by Stacey Wallace

I lost the remote for my Sony Blu-ray player and gave it to my girlfriend so I wanted her to have a remote with her. I looked up the player model number through Sony and found the remote control model number which I then looked up on Revain. I found this product and read the reviews and decided it was worth a try. It works great but with a small dent to the left of the home button. You can also see where the manufacturer etched the "Sony" label. In its place is a perfect dark stripe. These are just cosmetic issues. The real problem I had was that when I put batteries in I was surprised that the label said it should use AAA batteries even though my old remote used dual AA batteries. However, the battery compartment was too big and (unsurprisingly) AAA batteries didn't work. I put AA in and everything worked fine. Crappy cosmetic issues aside, the product works great for the player and that's the most important part.
