This was the only one that had my DVD player model number on it. My old remote stopped scrolling and I was concerned that the player was defective. This remote worked great.

No problem connecting to my old Sony DVD player, everything works great. I wasn't sure as it's not a Sony brand. Sorry, I don't know what is meant by purity, so I can't comment on that.

This product, as advertised, requires nothing more than installing batteries to control my Sony DVD player which is almost impossible to use without a remote control. the cheapest options. Highly recommended for Sony DVD players.

Very cheaply made remote control. The back cover does not fit well and part of the side of the back cover fell off. Disappointed to learn that the remote control is not compatible with our TV or programmable like the original Bluray player remote control. I contacted the seller about this issue as it was not clearly stated in the description at the time of purchase. Only recently, a few months after purchase, the remote control stopped working. I lost the remote for my Sony Blu-ray player and gave it to my girlfriend so I wanted her to have a remote with her. I looked up the player model number through Sony and found the remote control model number which I then looked up on Revain. I found this product and read the reviews and decided it was worth a try.
