Review on 🚀 High Performance K&N Cold Air Intake Kit for 2002-2006 ACURA/HONDA (RSX, CR-V): Guaranteed Horsepower Increase - Model 69-0015TS by Jimmy Montalvo

I installed this on my wife's 2003 Honda CRV and after a few months of use we find it useful. She has a commuter car. Our goal wasn't to "jump" our little CRV, but to get more response since it's only a 4-cylinder automatic. We get better response - especially noticeable at highway speeds. In addition, fuel consumption has slightly improved, which my wife noticed herself (I didn't tell her about it!). It also sounds a bit louder. Only if you step on it. An added benefit is that all space remains in the engine compartment after bulky standard components have been removed. And the price here at Revain was a bargain - none of the retailers I live at come anywhere close to matching it. The only thing that worries me is that the instructions and photos were poor and not detailed. Since this product is suitable for several different vehicles, they generalize and cover up the whole procedure. Not the best place to look for cheap guys. So you have to be VERY CAREFUL when removing exhaust hoses - and which ones. Due to the tiny photos and unclear description, I accidentally removed and snapped the flimsy $150 plastic stem from a valve. I thought it was what they described and the crappy picture but it wasn't. A parts specialist at a Honda dealership says they only sell this part if customers install K&N air intakes! And what a shame if the instructions/pictures were halfway reasonable - it would take 5 minutes to install! Otherwise it would have been a 5 star product.
