These aluminum tent pegs are very strong. I did a little experiment, put one in a vice and tried to bend it but to no avail. Eventually it will bend/break for sure - but even in the toughest terrain where I'll pitch a tent or set up a canopy I'll never match those strengths. The bright color is really great, as is the rope loop for pegging. They were very easy to put on and the notches really give you a lot of options for tying rope. Constructed from aluminum means very light weight and easy to carry in a backpack.
