Okay, in the user reviews there are reviews of two different products. The one with the most negative reviews or one star belongs to the magnet set. It seems that most people don't know how to use them and misinterpret this as a problem with the product. Read Christy Rose's review (https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R24CGTSZ1KTX8P?ref=pf_vv_at_pdctrvw_srp) to understand the difference and how to install the magnetic kit in your box. I bought a low profile glue set and they are perfect for my needs as a weekend mechanic. Like most people, I don't use an adhesive backing because it probably won't stick well to my earbuds. I use them in my "weird" wrench box along with Enrst wrench organizers (https://www.amazon.com/Ernst-Manufacturing-Wrench-Rail-Black/dp/B005ZIS8QU/ref=sr_1_12?keywords=wrench + halter&qid=1580739488&sr=8-12) and I prefer OEM organizers because they have a lower profile and all the slots are the same size. Again, I'm not a professional mechanic and just do my own oil changes, brakes, etc. similar auto repair, although they are plastic and not metal I think they'll be used for years until I outgrow my current box. As someone else mentioned, I cut them in half and use them as two sets. .
