Review on 🚿 KOHLER 135188 0.5 Inch Wall Valve System by Donald Phi

Ordered this part and finishing parts for entire home renovation. Slow leakage when first installed. The plumber removed and flushed the valves and same slow leak. Kohler online help sent replacement valves, no questions asked, they arrived in a few days (the only bright spot). Replaceable valves fitted - same slow leak - cast brass must be defective! Ordered a complete replacement unit. I had to open the outer patch again! (Costs hundreds of dollars, no warranty, valve replacement only.) The new valve assembly leaked worse than the original! Removed the cold water valve and found it to be defective (see fig.). Valve exchanged from the original, installed and finally earned. Terrible quality control. The guarantee is practically worthless as there are no consequences for shipping junk until something works - just the postage. If you buy this part, suggest you test it for leaks before installing.
