Assembly error plastic tip

The attachment of the plastic cap to the fuel line failed after about a year. I noticed fuel dripping and found that it had essentially separated from the fuel line.

Pros

Removing the tank cap before replacing the fuel filter depressurizes the system; After installing the filter, replace the cap
