Review on ๐Ÿš— Drifter Survivor Tire by Serfas by Loren Jacobson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These Serfas Drifter tires are amazing. While I can't say much about their inverted ones.

These Serfas Drifter tires are amazing. While I can't say much about their inverted tread design, which honestly sounds more like marketing than a truly functional design choice, the flat-resistant inner carcass and slim profile look great on my bike and help my old Schwinn move. With these tires on my still largely unmodified mountain bike, I can top out at 22mph on flat roads, which is still pretty good considering I tend to ride with a backpack and/or panniers. I drove over sand, gravel and even some nails and glass and none of it hit my pipe. Ironically, the first punctures I got with this tire were from: a. Pinching due to improper installationb. the flat part of a spoke nipple that has pierced the tube from the inside. Obviously this is not the fault of this tire. My advice? If you are a serious cyclist and live in areas where the local road infrastructure is in poor condition, these tires are for you. They won't turn an old race bike into a thoroughbred champion race bike, but they'll get you from point A to point B faster, easier and in style.
