Description of ๐Ÿš— Drifter Survivor Tire by Serfas

Our dual density Technology uses multiple rubber compounds used to improve feel and durability. Harder rubber compounds give you improved rolling resistance and improved longevity, while softer compounds on the outer tire improve grip. Will help to reduce your risk of flats through the use of thin weave nylon layers between the tire casing and tread layer. Survivor Series Flat Protection offers the best puncture resistance available. Inverted Tread pattern reduces rolling resistance. 69 durometer compound for amazing durability. Wire bead ensures a secure fit. Max PSI = 65.

Very puncture resistant tire

When I bought my bike the fragile tire that came with it was deflated within a month. This tire was a replacement for this tire AND THIS TIRE IS WORTH THE MONEY I PAID FOR IT. In the city, windows are regularly broken on the streets and sidewalks, which are sometimes difficult to avoid, especially in traffic jams. This tire has been on my bike for six months now and has not gone flat (yet). Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Wire bead for secure fit
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Holds more psi than most other double wall tires

WOW ๐Ÿ˜ฎ that's all I can say these tires are speechless what they were talking about and much more in my humble opinion. I'm an avid cyclist and ever since I first rode these beauties I immediately felt the difference, these tires are rated at 65psi and I've used everything because I'm a huge guy weighing 430 and these tires hold me easily The tires I had before burst due to my excessive weight, stretched and looked partially flat. Not those SERFAS SURVIVOR SERIES tires, they slip on pretty much

Pros
  • Helps reduce the risk of punctures by using thin layers of nylon between the carcass and the tread
Cons
  • unreliable

These Serfas Drifter tires are amazing. While I can't say much about their inverted tread design, which honestly sounds more like marketing than a truly functional design choice, the flat-resistant inner carcass and slim profile look great on my bike and help my old Schwinn move. With these tires on my still largely unmodified mountain bike, I can top out at 22mph on flat roads, which is still pretty good considering I tend to ride with a backpack and/or panniers. I drove over sand, gravel andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Max PSI = 65
Cons
  • Slightly Wrinkled

A hybrid mountain bike tire that is very comfortable to ride

There really is no tire that excels on both paved and unpaved roads. But there are tires that are better suited for this than others. This has to be one of the best at it. Ever since I moved to the San Francisco Peninsula, I've been looking for more interesting and challenging trips home from work. I found a paved road that dead-ended a few miles from another paved road that takes me home (the streets of Montebello and Page Mill if you're familiar with the area). I figured out there is a way to

Pros
  • 69 durometer compound for amazing durability
Cons
  • Compatibility
