I just got these grips and LOVE them! Initially, I used double-sided non-slip tape to attach two long rugs to wooden floors. The tape worked but tried to lift up a bit when I was vacuuming the rugs. It was also a little difficult to measure each strip, attach to each end of both rugs, and then attach another strip to the floor. It was also very difficult to rearrange the mats when needed. I was also concerned that the tape would leave sticky marks on the floor after a while. I just saw this product while browsing for something else and thought I'd give it a try. Installing a grip pad in all four corners of each skid was very easy and seems to hold up securely, but I can easily lift and move the mats. When I removed the old anti-slip tape, I also noticed that it left sticky marks on the floor after just two months. I am so pleased with this product that I have ordered a third pack for another rug.
