For my daughter's room, which is always cold in winter. The room was warm but sometimes it didn't seem to turn on when it gets too cool (at night. Will it be cold in the morning)? At other times it worked fine. We added a ceiling fan this summer so we'll see if that helps. Looks great, she likes glass balls instead of wood. Wall mounting saved so much space. She also likes to use it for ambient light without using the heat setting. The only downside is that the remote control for their LED lights also changes fireplace settings when on. never mind
