I bought these because we love crunchy crumbles for the holidays and it was a great deal. I haven't used them on veggies yet because, to be honest, I don't eat a lot of them. BUT they work with cookie dough! We made an easy recipe for rolling out sugar cookies for our family and used them, they worked fine for the kids, the plastic stayed in place so they were kid safe. Obviously they cook faster so you have to be careful when using them for cookies. Cleaning was easy, so easy. We hand wash cookie cutters just because they look cleaner. The brush helped a lot with cleaning, and in fact we used the brush on our large, small-faced cookie cutters too! Preference :) The blade was definitely strong enough to withstand the pressure that the basic veggies would require.
