In dance classes, I often refer to which muscles we use in which exercise. Using this muscle chart will help them understand exactly where their muscles are located and better visualize what part of the body they are moving. It expands their dance experience by learning how their muscles work to enable movement. And learning where each muscle group is makes them work harder! My students appreciate that I have provided a visual component to help them learn when they attend a dance fitness class unlike any they have attended!
