I have a chronic illness that (during my seizures) forces me to be in a hot water bath. I have a 50 gallon water heater and it takes about 45 minutes to fill/reheat water after the tub is full. There's nothing worse than getting in the bathroom and waiting for hot water and it's only warm (or cold). This timer saves me from constantly bothering my husband with the question "Isn't it time yet?". Accuracy was paramount and this purchase did not disappoint. That's exactly an hour (45 to preheat plus another 15 to make sure it's HOT water) and saved my husband from answering me "Not yet, you have 15 minutes!" 30 times in 6 minutes I chose light blue because it's my favorite. It's very nice to look at something so beautiful (although I'm disappointed it's not time for a bath yet) while I'm so miserable.
