This power supply is a total waste. I should have guessed the super low price but thought it was worth checking out. Trust me - don't worry. The fan in this PSU is clearly hitting something inside the unit. It sounds like a screwdriver is stuck in the case fan. Other reviewers had the same issue, so it's clear they're aware and have chosen to ignore it. Also, the included power cord was ridiculously flimsy. Its diameter is 60% smaller than a high-quality PC power cable from a well-known manufacturer. Maybe less. It seems dangerous to me. I would never use it. Yes, I'll admit it's cheap, but if you're too scared to turn it on for fear of fire or explosion, then what has that low price really bought you? know better next time.
