Review on Wi-Fi router netis WF2780, black by Indal Singh ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

I killed the TP-Link TL-WR841ND firmware, which in the fifth year of operation began to shamelessly fail and I had to look for a new one to replace it. In the light of recent developments, I decided to take a dual-band one with gigabit ports. Well, not very expensive either. I found this device and never regretted it, although the brand is little known. It turned out to be not complicated in settings and more powerful than the old one. Enough for 60 square meters of an apartment. Moreover, 5G on a smartphone catches a floor and a half from the router in a reinforced concrete house. Bought in November 2022, no complaints. Maybe it was worth getting into the settings thoroughly and sharpening "for yourself", but somehow it doesn't come to that. There was a new firmware in December 17th, until I installed it. Maybe with an ate I’ll get into the global settings, but for now, let it work like that. 01/20/18 last week began to "stutter". Inet constantly began to disappear for a short time. 3 laptops, a tablet and 4 smartphones are connected. Maybe the load, maybe some other hitch, but variations with the settings and changing the firmware did not improve anything. Removed to the closet and replaced by Asus RT-AC86U.

Pros
  • - 2 bands - gigabit ports - IPTV support - more powerful than TP-Link TL-WR841ND - easy to set up - not expensive - the possibility of mounting on the wall, but a little clumsy - on the body of the recess for the screws
Cons
  • - non-removable antennas, do not put more powerful - the design is strange - they could make antennas not from one side, but in pairs on the left and right
